Het onderhoud is afgerond. Alles werkt weer zoals het hoort.

De storing is opgelost!

Morgen wordt er onderhoud gepleegd aan de server. Bij dit onderhoud kan Slagzet.com af en toe onbereikbaar zijn. Sorry voor het ongemak.

Bij het onderhoud van de webshop is er iets niet helemaal goed gegaan en het oplossen kost wat meer tijd.
Na het weekend zal ik het herstellen.

Therefore I'm looking for a volunteer to make a French translation of the main part of the site, from English to French. The text to be translated is about 650 words and sentences.

Hoera! het is al weer vijf jaar geleden dat slagzet.com het levenslicht zag. In eerste instantie bedoeld als een website om damfragmenten te bewaren en te delen, maar ondertussen uitgegroeid tot zoveel meer: puzzelen, dammen tegen de computer of tegen andere leden, correspondentiedammen en tegenwoordig zelfs een eigen forum en een webshop.

In de afgelopen 5 jaar hebben we meer dan 170.000 unieke bezoekers mogen verwelkomen die met z'n allen meer dan 150.000 uur van het damspel hebben genoten.

We zijn super blij met deze cijfers en bedanken alle bezoekers en mensen die zich op andere manieren hebben ingezet voor dit damplatform. En we gaan de komende jaren zorgen dat nog meer mensen een nog leukere damervaring op Slagzet.com hebben.

Om dit jubileum met jullie te vieren rekenen wij in september geen verzendkosten voor bestellingen boven de 30 euro.

I'm getting reports form people the the computer is playing way stronger than before. I did an update yesterday, which I thought was only a speed up of the computer play, but as it turns out I missed one small datail that made the computer play way stronger at some levels. I did a partial rollback and I believe the issue should be fixed. If you still experience this problem please let me know so I can do a full rollback when I'm back at the office on Monday.

I've added the option to play long games. In these games you have 3 days to make a move. You can challenge individual players via their profile pages, or play against random opponents. check it out https://slagzet.com/play-correspondence

The main features are working but many parts are still in the development phase. Feedback is welcome.

Https is now enabled on most parts of the website. The webshop is not working yet, the forum is missing the header. If you run into any other issues please let me know.

We have been working on a drag and drop interface for playing against the computer and playing against others.
An experimental version of the interface is now available form the settings tab on your profile page.

We would love to have your feedback on it.

To get some more people active on the gameserver I've added an experimental bot. The bot is based on Fabien Letouzey's Scan version 2.0 one of the strongest draughts engines.
